Statement on President's Signing of H.R. 32

      Fact Sheet: President Bush Signs the Stop Counterfeiting in Manufactured Goods Act

On Thursday, March 16, 2006, the President signed into law:

H.R. 32, which prohibits trafficking in counterfeit labels and packaging; and subjects to forfeiture and destruction property derived from proceeds of, or used in, trafficking in counterfeit goods, services, labels, or packaging.
