Personnel Announcement
President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate one individual, appoint 25 individuals, and designate one individual to serve in his administration:
The President intends to nominate William Cobey, of North Carolina, to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, for the remainder of a six-year term expiring May 30, 2010.
The President intends to appoint the following individuals to be Members of the Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations, for terms of two years:

The President intends to designate Harvey S. Rosen, of New Jersey, to be Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers. Mr. Rosen currently serves as a Member of the Council of Economic Advisers. Previously, he was a Professor of Economics at Princeton University. Earlier in his career, Mr. Rosen served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Tax Analysis at the Department of the Treasury. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and his master's degree and Ph.D. from Harvard University.
