Personnel Announcement
President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate two individuals to serve in his administration:
The President intends to nominate Michael J. Harrison, of Connecticut, to be Assistant Secretary of Agriculture (Administration). Mr. Harrison currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cunningham Services in Georgetown, Connecticut. He previously served as Vice President and General Counsel for Dannon Foods, Inc. Earlier in his career, Mr. Harrison served as an associate with Schnader, Harrison, Segal & Lewis. He earned his bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and his J.D. from Harvard University.
The President intends to nominate Pamela Hughes Patenaude, of New Hampshire, to be an Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (Community Planning and Development). Ms. Patenaude currently serves as Assistant Deputy Secretary for Field Policy and Management at the Department of Housing and Urban Development. She previously served as the Marketing and Training Director for the New Hampshire Small Business Development Center. Earlier in her career, Ms. Patenaude served as Vice President of Manor Homes Builders, Inc., in Bedford, New Hampshire. She earned her bachelor's degree from St. Anselm College and her master's degree from Southern New Hampshire University.
