Statement on H.R. 5005

The President today signed the following bill into law:

H.R. 5005, the Emergency Supplemental Appropriations for Disaster Relief Act, 2004, making emergency supplemental appropriations for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2004, for additional disaster assistance and providing emergency FY 2004 supplemental appropriations for FEMA to respond to the immediate needs associated with Hurricanes Charley and Frances.
