Statement by the Press Secretary
On Friday, April 30, 2004 the President signed into law:
H.R. 1274, which authorizes the Administrator of General Services to convey the Federal courthouse in Frenso, California, to Fresno County;
H.R. 2489, the "Cowlitz Indian Tribe Distribution of Judgment Funds Act," which authorizes the distribution of funds awarded to the Cowlitz Indian Tribe of Washington in settlement of its claims against the United States;
H.R. 3118, which designates the Orville Wright Federal Building and the Wilbur Wright Federal Building in Washington, D.C.; and
H.R. 4219, the "Surface Transportation Extension Act of 2004, Part II," which provides funding for programs funded from the Highway Trust Fund for the period of May 1, 2004, through June 30, 2004.
