Statement by the Press Secretary

On Tuesday, May 27, 2003, the President signed into law:

H.R. 1298, the "United States Leadership Against HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria Act of 2003" which authorizes assistance to foreign countries to combat HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria.
