Michael Chertoff, of New Jersey, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Third Circuit, vice Morton I. Greenberg, retired.

Samuel Der-Yeghiayan, of Illinois, to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois, vice Marvin E. Aspen, retired.
