Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate one individual, designate one individual and appoint five individuals to serve in his administration:
The President intends to nominate Harry A. Haines of Montana, to be a Judge of the United States Tax Court, for a fifteen-year term. Mr. Haines currently serves as Partner at the law firm Worden Thane & Haines, where he has worked since 1966. He also previously served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Montana Law School. He is a graduate of St. Olaf College, earned his J.D. at the University of Montana Law School and his LL.M. in taxation from New York University Law School.
The President intends to designate Shannon Davis Henderson of Virginia, to be Acting Assistant Secretary of Energy, for Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs, where she currently serves as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs. Ms. Henderson received her bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University.
President intends to appoint the following individuals to be Members of the Joint Public Advisory Committee of the Commission for Environmental Cooperation:
Patricia Clarey of California is the Vice President of Government Relations at Health Net, Inc.
Dinkerrai Desai of New Jersey is the Environmental Coordinator at the U.S. Army Material Command in Forth Monmouth, New Jersey.
Arturo Duran of Texas is the General Manager of the Lower Valley Water District in El Paso, Texas.
Jane Gardner of Connecticut is the Manager and Counsel for Remediation Programs at General Electric.
Patricia McDonald of Wyoming is the former Chief of Staff of the Mine Safety and Health Administration at the Department of Labor.
