Appointments
President Bush to Appoint Nine Individuals to Serve in His Administration

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to appoint nine individuals to serve in his administration.

The President intends to appoint the following nine individuals to be Members of the Commission for the Preservation of America's Heritage Abroad:

Presidential Selection-

Steven Some of New Jersey, for the remainder of a three-year term expiring February 27, 2004.

In consultation with the President Pro Temp of the Senate-

Warren Lloyd Miller of Virginia, for the remainder of a three-year term expiring July 13, 2004, and upon appointment designate Chairman.

Ned Bandler of Connecticut, for the remainder of a three-year term expiring June 24, 2004.

Chaskel Besser of New York, for the remainder of a three-year term expiring August 9, 2004.

Phyllis Kaminsky of Maryland, for the remainder of a three-year term expiring July 13, 2005.

Michael B. Levy of the District of Columbia, for the remainder of a three-year term expiring July 13, 2004.

Lee Seeman of New York, for the remainder of a three-year term expiring August 17, 2004

In consultation with the Speaker of the House-

Amy S. Epstein of Florida, for the remainder of a three-year term expiring August 9, 2005.

Irving Stolberg of Connecticut, for the remainder of a three-year term expiring June 24, 2004.
