Statement by the Press Secretary
Visit by Sri Lankan Prime Minister Wickremesinghe

The President will meet with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe of Sri Lanka at the White House on July 24, 2002. The leaders will discuss key bilateral issues and Sri Lankas efforts to achieve a peaceful end to a long-standing conflict that has been marked by terrorism and human rights abuses.
