Bahraini Amir to Visit Washington

President Bush will welcome Amir Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of Bahrain to Washington for a working visit on May 7. The meeting marks the continuation of a long friendship and close partnership between the United States and Bahrain. The President looks forward to discussing bilateral and regional issues with Amir Hamad, including Gulf security and efforts to achieve peace in the Middle East.
