Christopher B. Smith - Office of Public Liaison
Christopher Smith currently serves as Associate Director for the White House Office of Public Liaison. He is responsible for coordinating national organizations and public interest groups to advance the President's policies regarding the environment, agriculture, and sportsmen-related issues.
Prior to joining the White House in April 2004, Christopher was the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Congressional Liaison for Marketing and Regulatory Programs.
From 1997-2000, Christopher served as District Director for the late Sen. Paul D. Coverdell (R-GA).
Christopher is a native of Lilburn, Georgia and has a B.A. in Journalism from Georgia State University.
