Thaddeus DuBois
Former White House Executive Pastry Chef
Mrs. Laura Bush named Thaddeus R. DuBois the White House Executive Pastry Chef in September 2004. Mr. DuBois was responsible for preparing desserts for dinners, receptions and special events hosted by The President and Mrs. Bush. Mr. DuBois has held a number of executive pastry chef positions, most recently at The Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He received training at the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, New York and the International School of Confectionery Arts, Gaithersburg, Maryland. In addition, he earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Montana.
