Where are They Now?

Colonel Bruce Berwick (1987-88) is currently serving as the Executive Officer to the Secretary of the Army has been selected for promotion to Brigadier General.

Commander Carlos Del Toro (1998-99) relinquished command of the USS Bulkeley to become the Military Assistant to the Deputy Director of Program Analysis and Evaluation at the Office of the Secretary of Defense in Washington, DC.

Nelson Diaz (1977-78) has been named City Solicitor for the City of Philadelphia Law Department in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Linda Eddelman (1996-97) has been appointed Executive Director of the Trust
for the Americas at the Organization of American States in Washington, DC.

Colonel David (Bob) Edmonds (1995-96) currently serving as the Air Force Senate Liaison Officer, has been promoted to Brigadier General in the United States Air Force in Washington, DC.

Colonel John Fenzel (2000-01) is commander of the 1st Battalion 1 SWTG (A) in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Colonel Will Gunn (1990-91) is the Executive Officer to the Air Force Judge Advocate General at the Pentagon in Washington, DC.

Steve Hill (1978-79) has announced his retirement as Vice President for Human Resources, Weyerhaeuser Corporation, after 32 years with the company, to begin a career in the non-profit or foundation world in Tacoma, Washington.

Raymond Jefferson (2000-01) has been appointed by Governor Linda Lingle to serve as Deputy Director of the Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Sharon Kiely (1994-95) is the Vice Chair of the Department of Medicine at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Lewis P. Long (1996-97) is General Manager of Verizon Avenue in New York, New York.

Mike Lynn (2001-02) is a Visiting Scholar and International Affairs Fellow for the Council on Foreign Relations with residence at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.

Lieutenant Colonel Bruce McClintock (2001-02) is the Assistant Director for Operations for the 25th Fighter Squadron at Osan Air Base, Korea.

Gaynor McCown (1993-94) has left Edison Schools to become the Executive Director of The Teaching Commission headed by Louis Gerstner, former CEO of IBM, at The CUNY Graduate Center in New York, New York.

Jamie Metzl (1997-98) has left the staff of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to become a Senior Fellow and Coordinator for Homeland Security Programs for the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, DC.

Lieutenant Colonel David Moore (1996-97) as a Chief of Rated Force Policy at the USAF headquarters in Washington, DC, has been promoted to Colonel in the United States Air Force.

Major Richard Morales (2001-02) is a student at the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island.

Captain Dennis Murphy (1992-93) is Deputy Commander of Submarine Squadron THREE homeported in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Meredith Neizer (1986-87) has moved from Panama to Canada, where she is now Vice President for Office Operations of Martin-Brower, Canada.

Kien Pham (1985-86) has been appointed by President Bush as the first Executive Director of the Vietnam Education Foundation (VEF) which will operate under the auspices of the State Department in Washington, DC.

Oren Whyche-Shaw (1983-84) has been appointed to the position of Director of the Office of African Nations in the International Affairs Department of the U.S. Department of the Treasury in Washington, DC.

John H. Weiland (1987-88) has been elected President and Chief Operating Officer of C.R. Bard, Inc in Murray Hill, New Jersey.
