Jefferson: President Thomas Jefferson's home, "Monticello," is located in Charlottesville, Virginia. An example of Roman neoclassicism, construction started on the 33-room house in 1769 and was completed when Jefferson left for Europe in 1784. Located at the Center and Cross Halls

In keeping with the theme Home for the Holidays, replicas from the original family home plans of the nation's Presidents were created by White House staff members and displayed in a wintry forest throughout the rooms of the White House.
