Mrs. Bush receives the official 2001 White House Christmas tree, an 18-foot Concolor fir that was grown in the mountains of Central Pennsylvania. The tree was presented to Mrs. Bush by Hill View Tree Farm of Middleburg and donated by the Bowersox family, who was named the 2000 National Grand Champion Grower by the National Christmas Tree Association.
