Errata Sheet for the Lists of Areas in the
Attachment to OMB Bulletin 03-04

List 3 Micropolitan Statistical Areas

The list of micropolitan statistical areas originally published on June 6, 2003 in the attachment to OMB Bulletin 03-04 erroneously listed Easton, MD as the principal city of the East Stroudsburg, PA Micropolitan Statistical Area and East Stroudsburg, PA as the principal city of the Easton, MD Micropolitan Statistical Area. Easton and East Stroudsburg each are principal cities of the micropolitan statistical area bearing the same name. This error was corrected in a revised list posted to OMB’s website on June 9, 2003.

List 4 Combined Statistical Areas

The North Vernon, IN Micropolitan Statistical Area was omitted as a component of the Indianapolis-Anderson-Columbus, IN Combined Statistical Area.

As a result, the correct number of component areas within the 116 Combined Statistical Areas in the United States and Puerto Rico is 315.

The title of the Rockingham County-Strafford County Metropolitan Division within the Boston-Cambridge-Quincy, MA-NH Metropolitan Statistical Area listed under the New Hampshire section of list 5 erroneously omitted the word “County” after both county names.

The entry for the Newark-Union, NJ-PA Metropolitan Division (code: 35084) under both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania sections of list 5 should have included the word “(part)”.
