President Bush Announces Ed Gillespie as New Counselor to the President
President George W. Bush meets with White House Counselor Dan Bartlett, left, and Ed Gillespie in the Oval Office Wednesday, June 13, 2007. In announcing Mr. Gillespie as his new Counselor, President Bush said, "When Dan told me that he was going to leave the White House so he could spend more time with his three young children and his wife, I never thought I'd be able to find somebody that could possibly do as good a job as he has done. I'm fortunate that Ed Gillespie has agreed to join the administration." White House photo by Eric Draper
