Within site of the Eiffel Tower, an American Flag hangs at half-staff during the official period of mourning for President Gerald R. Ford at the Suresnes American Cemetery near Paris Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007. Dedicated in 1919 by President Woodrow Wilson, the cemetery was established for American troops who died in World War I.
