President Bush Signs H.R. 3408, S. 176, S. 244, S. 1025, S. 1275, S. 1323, and S. 2690

On Thursday, October 5, 2006, the President signed into law:

H.R. 3408, which extends the Livestock Mandatory Price Reporting Act through September 30, 2010.

S. 176, which extends the deadline under the Federal Power Act for the construction of the Reynolds Creek Hydroelectric Project on Prince of Wales Island, Alaska.

S. 244, which extends the deadline under the Federal Power Act for the construction of the Swift Creek Hydroelectric Project, Wyoming.

S. 1025, the "Wichita Project Equus Beds Division Authorization Act of 2005," which authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to assist in the funding and implementation of the Equus Beds Aquifer Recharge and Recovery Component of the Integrated Local Water Supply Plan, Wichita, Kansas.

S. 1275, designates a facility of the United States Postal Service as the Alice R. Brusich Post Office Building.

S. 1323, designates a facility of the United States Postal Service as the Dorothy and Connie Hibbs Post Office Building.

S. 2690, designates a facility of the United States Postal Service as the Harry J. Parrish Post Office.
