Presidential Delegation to Ukraine to Attend The Commemoration of the 65th Anniversary of the Tragedy in Babyn Yar

President Bush today announced the designation of a Presidential Delegation to Ukraine to attend The Commemoration of the 65th Anniversary of the Tragedy in Babyn Yar on September 27, 2006.

The Honorable Margaret Spellings, Secretary of Education will lead the delegation.

Members of the Presidential Delegation are:

The Honorable William B. Taylor, Jr., Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Ukraine

Mr. Gregg Rickman, Special Envoy for Monitoring and Combating Anti-Semitism

The Honorable Fred S. Zeidman, Chairman, United States Holocaust Memorial Council

The Honorable Vincent Obsitnik, Former Member of the Commission for the Preservation of America's Heritage Abroad
