President Discusses Creation of Military Commissions to Try Suspected Terrorists
President George W. Bush emphasizes a point Wednesday Sept. 6, 2006 in the East Room of the White House, as he discusses the administration's draft legislation to create a strong and effective military commission to try suspected terrorists. The bill being sent to Congress, said President Bush, "reflects the reality that we are a nation at war, and that it is essential for us to use all reliable evidence to bring these people to justice."
