Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate one individual to serve in his Administration:

The President intends to nominate Rodney E. Hood, of North Carolina, to be a Member of the National Credit Union Administration Board. Mr. Hood currently serves as Associate Administrator of the Rural Housing Service at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He previously served as Marketing Director and Group Sales Manager for the North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance Company in Durham, North Carolina. Prior to that, Mr. Hood was National Director of the Emerging Markets Group of Wells Fargo. Earlier in his career, he worked for Bank of America as Project Manager for the Community Development Group. Mr. Hood received his bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
