New Wells in Kandahar Benefit Thousands

New wells are providing drinking water for families in two drought-stricken regions in the Kandahar province of Afghanistan. The 110 new wells are making water more readily available to 2,400 families in Arghistan and 1,500 families in Maruf. The wells took five months to complete and were funded by the U.S. government and Cooperazione Internationale.
