Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today announced that he has named Candida Perotti Wolff to be Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs. Ms. Wolff is a Partner with Washington Council Ernst & Young in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining the firm, she served as Assistant to the Vice President for Legislative Affairs.

"Candi Wolff has a great understanding of the legislative process, having worked on the Hill, at the White House, and in the private sector. Her hard work and determination will help advance my legislative agenda. I appreciate her willingness to serve a second term in my Administration," stated President Bush.

Ms. Wolff spent eight years working in the U.S. Senate. She served as Deputy Staff Director to the Senate Republican Policy Committee under the chairmanship of Senator Larry Craig. She also served as Legislative Counsel to the Senate Steering Committee and as Tax Counsel to former Senator Malcolm Wallop. Ms. Wolff received her bachelor's degree from Mount Holyoke College and her J.D. from The George Washington University.
