Afghan Businesswomen Learn New Skills
Fact of the Day

Afghan women entrepreneurs will attend a two-week program at Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management in Arizona. These 15 women will not only receive classroom instruction in entrepreneurship, communications, and networking, but will also be mentored by successful U.S. businesswomen. Thunderbird hopes that upon returning to Afghanistan, these women will then become mentors themselves. Programs such as this help Afghan women to assert their new role in society.
