NATO has announced it will increase assistance to Iraq's security forces, including the establishment of a NATO training center in Iraq. NATO is training and equipping forces so the Iraqi government can provide better security for its citizens. As part of this effort, NATO will create a permanent training center at Ar Rustamiya to prepare Iraqi security personnel to meet this challenge.
