Strong Iraqi Private Sector Will Aid Iraq's Recovery
Iraqi Fact of the Day

Strengthening the private sector and helping entrepreneurs develop the skills needed to reach domestic and international markets will be a major factor in Iraq's recovery and independence. Some 20,000 American business experts working through the Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance will help strengthen Iraq's private sector. New business centers being established across Iraq will be sites for entrepreneurial training and distribution of business kits to those embarking on new ventures. Business owners who successfully complete training courses will be able to apply for small loans.
