Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to designate one individual and appoint six individuals to serve in his administration:

The President intends to designate Linda Richey Graves, of Kansas, to be Chairman of the Commission on Presidential Scholars.

The President intends to appoint the following individuals to be Members of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council for the remainder of a five-year term expiring January 15, 2008:

Tony B. Gelbart, of Florida.

Harry Reicher, of New York.

The President intends to appoint the following individuals to be Members of the Advisory Commission on Drug-Free Communities for a three-year term expiring November 19, 2006:

Kenneth L. Barun, of Illinois.

Arthur Dean, of Virginia.

Dennis Griffith, of California.

Tracy Mueller, of Colorado.
