President George W. Bush today announced the designation of two individuals to serve in his administration:

The President has designated Kirk Van Tine, of Virginia, to be Acting Deputy Secretary of Transportation.

The President has designated Neil McPhie, of Virginia, to be Vice Chairman of the Merit Systems Protection Board.
