Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate three individuals to serve in his administration:

The President intends to nominate Timothy J. Dunn, of Illinois, to have the Rank of Ambassador during his tenure as Deputy Permanent Representative of the United States Permanent Mission to the Organization of American States.

The President intends to nominate Adam Marc Lindemann, of New York, to be a Member of the Advisory Board for Cuba Broadcasting, for the remainder of a three-year term expiring October 27, 2005.

The President intends to nominate James C. Struble, of California, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Peru. A career member of the Senior Foreign Service, Mr. Struble currently serves as Senior Advisor in the Bureau of Human Resources/Office of Performance Evaluation at the Department of State. He previously served as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs. His previous overseas assignments include: Ecuador, Thailand, Honduras, Spain, Russia and Mexico. Mr. Struble is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and was a Foreign Affairs Fellow at the Hoover Institution in Stanford, California. Over the course of his twenty-five year career with the Department of State, Mr. Struble has received eight awards for distinguished service.
