Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate two individuals to serve in his administration:

The President intends to nominate Roger Walton Ferguson, Jr., of Massachusetts, to be Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, for a four-year term.

The President intends to nominate Ben S. Bernanke, of New Jersey, to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (6th District), for a fourteen-year term.
