President Visits Detroit Edison Monroe Power Plant in Monroe, Michigan
President George W. Bush tours the Detroit Edison's Monroe Power Plant in Monroe, Mich., Monday, Sept. 15, 2003. At the plant, the President viewed modernizing efforts and discussed how the administration is improving New Source Review regulations. The changes will provide increased flexibility and ensure that air pollution will not be increased when plants maintain and replace worn-out equipment. White House photo by Tina Hager.
