President to Welcome Prime Minister of Kuwait
Statement by the Press Secretary

President Bush will welcome Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al-Jabir Al Sabah to the White House on September 10. The President values the significant contributions that the Kuwaiti government and people have made to the liberation of Iraq from the regime of Saddam Hussein and to the improvement of the lives of the Iraqi people. The President looks forward to discussing next steps on regional security issues, the global war on terrorism, and further strengthening ties between the United States and Kuwait.
