President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate three individuals to serve in his administration:
The President intends to nominate McGregor W. Scott of California, to be United States Attorney for the Eastern District of California, for a four-year term. Mr. Scott currently serves as District Attorney in Shasta County, California. He previously was Deputy District Attorney in Contra Costa County, California. He is a graduate of Santa Clara University and earned his law degree from Hastings College of Law at the University of California.
The President intends to nominate Diane L. Kroupa of Minnesota, to be a Judge of the United States Tax Court, for a fifteen-year term. She currently serves as Special Counsel at Faegre & Benson. She has more than 20 years of experience in tax law and previously served as a Judge on the Minnesota Tax Court. She is a graduate of Georgetown University and earned her law degree from the University of South Dakota.
The President intends to nominate Anne Rader of Virginia, to be a Member of the National Council on Disability for the remainder of a three-year term expiring September 17, 2004. She currently serves as Senior Manager for Housing and Community Development for Fannie Mae. Ms. Rader earned her bachelor's degree from Marquette University and her master's degree from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
