President Commemorates 1st Anniversary of Freedom Corps
On the first anniversary of President George W. Bush's USA Freedom Corps initiative, the President visits the Jelleff Branch of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington in the District of Columbia Thursday, Jan. 30. "Once again, I'm asking our fellow citizens to serve your community and to serve your country by finding a program that will make a difference in somebody's lives. It doesn't matter how big or small the program may sound. What matters is your love and your energy and your participation," said the President in his remarks. White House photo by Tina Hager.
