President Bush Signs Child Internet Safety Legislation
President George W. Bush talks to Solveig Haugen, her twin sister Liv and their younger brother Tad, after the signing of the Dot Kids Implementation and Efficiency Act of 2002 in the Roosevelt Room, Dec 4. The Haugen family of Loudoun County, Virginia is one family that will benefit from the act. The bill creates a second level Internet domain (kids.us), within the United States country code, that will provide a safe online environment for children ages 13 and under.
