Statement by the Press Secretary

The President and Prime Minister Jean Chrétien of Canada will meet in Detroit, Michigan on Monday, September 9. The two leaders will review progress made on the intensified border cooperation agenda agreed on in the wake of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks against the United States, and will discuss other bilateral and international matters.
