Statement by the Press Secretary
Visit by President Wade of Senegal

The President will meet with President Abdoulaye Wade of Senegal at the White House on June 18 to commend him for his work toward a resolution of the political crisis in Madagascar, and to discuss President's Wade vision and ideas for development in Africa.

President Bush looks forward to the opportunity to review key bilateral and regional issues with President Wade, including the New Partnership for African Development (NePAD) and the upcoming G-8 Summit in Kananaskis.
