Statement by the Press Secretary
On Monday, March 25, 2002, the President signed into law H.R. 3986, which provides an additional 13 weeks of disaster unemployment compensation benefits for certain individuals who lost their jobs as a result of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
