Nominations, Appointments and Designations
President Bush to Nominate Six Individuals to Serve as Members of the Federal Judiciary, Appoint Eleven Individuals, and Designate One to Serve in His Administration

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate six individuals to serve as members of the federal judiciary, appoint eleven individuals, and designate one individual to serve in his administration.

The President intends to nominate Henry E. Autrey to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Missouri.

The President intends to nominate David S. Cercone to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

The President intends to nominate Richard E. Dorr to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Missouri.

The President intends to nominate Morrison C. England, Jr. to be Untied States District Judge for the Eastern District of California.

The President intends to nominate Timothy J. Savage to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

The President intends to nominate Amy J. St. Eve to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.

The President intends to appoint the following individuals as Members of the President's Council on the 21st Century Workforce:

Douglas James Banes of Illinois
Jeffery Lawrence Bleustein of Wisconsin
Anna Regula Haug de Cablik of Georgia
Anna Escobedo Cabral of Virginia
Thomas Joseph Donohue of Maryland
James K. Glassman of Connecticut
Lowell McFerrin Guthrie of Kentucky
James Philip Hoffa of Michigan
David Sen Lin Lee of California
Charles Joseph Scarborough of Florida

The President intends to appoint the following individual to be the United States Representative on the Executive Board of the United Nations Children's Fund:

William Omer Brisben, Jr. of Ohio.

The President intends to designate the following individual to serve in his adminstration:

Mary Elizabeth Kramer of Iowa, currently a member of the commission, to be Chairman of the Commission on Presidential Scholars.
