Nomination and Appointment
President Bush to Nominate One Individual and Appoint One Individual to Serve in His Administration

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate one individual and his intention to appoint one individual to serve in his administration.

The President intends to nominate Gregory Allyn Forest to be United States Marshal for the Western District of North Carolina.  Forest has served as a Senior Probation Officer in the Probation Office of the United States Court in Charlotte, North Carolina, since 1995.  From 1986 to 1995, he served as a Vice and Narcotics Investigator with the Charlotte Police Department. Forest is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

The President intends to appoint John LeRoy Henderson to be a Member of the President's Board of Advisors on Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
