President Ford and Vice President Cheney
Former President Gerald R. Ford stands with Vice President Dick Cheney and Mrs. Lynne Cheney upon their arrival to Beaver Creek, Colorado for the American Enterprise Institute World Forum, June 20, 2003. President Ford, in partnership with British Prime Minister James Callaghan, French President Valery Giscard D'Estaing, and German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt, created the AEI World Forum to annually gather senior business executives, government officials, and world scholars for dialogue in international finance, trade, national security, social policy, and politics.
