DR. DAVID ALBALA
(’95-’96) has moved from Loyola University in Chicago to Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.

LCDR KATHERINE ALLEN (’00-’01)
is a student in the Engineering Management Program at George Washington University in Washington, DC.

DR. CHRIS CHYBA (’93-’94)
has been named a MacArthur Fellow.

CDR CARLOS DEL TORO (’98-’99)
formally commissioned his ship, the USS Bulkeley in New York City on December 8, 2001, and is now home-ported in Norfolk, VA.

Patricia Davis (’75-’76)
has been named Senior Vice President for Wealth Management, AllFirst Bank, Washington, DC.

GENE DEWEY (’68-’69)
has been nominated to become the Assistant Secretary of State for Populations, Refugees, and Migration.

LTC JOHN FENZEL (’00-’01)
has been named as Staff Director for the newly created office of Homeland Defense in the Executive Office of the President.

MAJ MICHAEL FENZEL
(’00-’01) is a student at the Naval Command and General Staff College in Newport, RI.

KATIE HONG (’00-’01)
has returned from Seattle to become Senior Policy Advisor to Mayor Greg Nickles.

RAY JEFFERSON (’00-’01)
is a Fulbright Fellow in the U.S. Department of State’s International Education in Singapore.

ROBERT E. JOHNSON
(’87-’88) is now the Director, Strategic Planning, of BAE Systems, North America, in Rockville, MD.

DOUGLAS KMIEC (’82-’83)
has moved from Pepperdine University in California to Washington, DC, to become Dean of the School of Law, Catholic University.

BG FRANK KLOTZ (’82-’83)
is Director of Defense Policy, Directorate of Defense Policy and Arms Control, on the National Security Council in the White House.

JACKIE LAIN (’99-’00)
has been named Associate Director School Evaluation Services for Standard and Poor’s in Washington, DC.

ADM CHARLES L. LARSON (RET) (’68-’69)
is President of the Naval Academy Foundation in Annapolis, MD.

BARRY MCBEE (’89-’90)
has left his post as Chief of Staff to Governor Rick Perry to join the Austin Office of Bracewell & Patterson, LLP.

LEE MCGOLDRICK (’00-’01)
has been named Vice President for Regional Management at Teach for America in Washington, D.C.

PETER RUNDLET (’97-’98)
is an attorney in the Political Law Department of Skadden, Arps in the Washington, DC, office.

RADM ANN RONDEAU
(’85-’86) is now Commander, Navy Training Command in Great Lakes, IL.

JOSEPH SAMORA (’90-’91)
has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Case New Holland, Inc.

BROOKE SHEARER (FORMER DIRECTOR)
is serving as Executive Director, Yale World Fellows Program, in New Haven, CT.

GREGG SUHLER (’79-’80)
is Managing Partner of Dynamic Predictables in Columbia, MO.

JULIA TAFT (’70-’71)
has been named the Deputy Director for the United Nations Development Programme in New York City.

MARC THOMAS (’94-’95)
is now with General Electric in Connecticut.

CDR JOHN WOOD (’96-’97)
is currently in San Antonio enroute to command the 33 Fighter Training Squadron (a joint command) at Vance AFB, OK.

DIANE YU (’86-’87)
is serving as the Director of the Presidential Transition Team and is Vice President designate at New York University in New York City.
