Get Ready to Recruit!

With the 2003-2004 class selected and ready to begin their Fellowship year, it.s time again to gear up for another successful recruiting season. In the coming weeks, the White House Fellows Program Office will send you updated recruiting materials to assist with your efforts.

In the meantime, below are ideas on how you can help recruit and maintain the strong legacy of the Fellows Program:

  • Hold a White House Fellows Information Session in your community, work place, or alma mater.
  • Send email messages to potential applicants, organizations, and other contacts about the Fellows Program and application deadline.
  • Encourage organizations to link their web site to the program web site . www.whitehouse.gov/fellows.
  • Write an article about the program and submit it to your local newspaper, trade publications, or alumni magazines.
  • Mention the White House Fellows Program at speaking engagements, and during any media appearances/interviews.
  • Highlight your Fellowship year on your professional biography.
  • Work one-on-one with at least two high-caliber candidates and encourage them to apply.
  • Provide the Program Office with contacts for our mailing lists.

We look forward to working with you during the Fall recruiting season!
