Launched in April 2003, citizens have participated in over 400 online discussions with Cabinet Secretaries, Senior White House Officials, behind-the-scenes professionals at the White House, and others.
Transcripts of every live chat session are available on this page. If you would like to suggest a participant to appear on Ask the White House, click here.

Ambassador Mark R. Dybul, US Global AIDS Coordinator
Thank you very much for joining me for this discussion prior to World AIDS Day. This morning, I joined President Bush and Mrs. Bush at a small church in Maryland, where they met with representatives of faith-based groups that are working to care for people living with HIV and prevent others from getting the virus.

I'm delighted to have this opportunity to answer your questions on import safety. This is an issue that concerns all of us. It's been my top priority for the past several months, and I'm glad to be able to share with you what I've learned.
